Privacy policy.

Last updated 12 October 2026.

The short version: we collect what you send us through the contact form and, only if you accept, visit statistics. We don’t sell your information and we don’t run ads.

Who we are

Signal Eight is a creative studio. This policy covers this website, signaleight.co. If you have a question about it, write to hello@signaleight.co.

What we collect, and why

What you send us. If you use the contact form, we receive your name, your email, your brand or company, your website and social links, any notes or message you write, and whether you chose the first-project offer. We use it to reply, to prepare your Signal Audit and to talk about working together. We do this because you asked us to, and because it is how a studio takes on new work.

How you use the site, only if you accept. If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics tells us which pages are viewed, how people found the site, the kind of device and browser they use, an approximate location taken from the IP address, and how the offer banner, the offer ticket and the contact forms are used. We do this with your consent, and you can withdraw it at any time.

Technical records. Our host keeps routine server records (IP address, the pages requested, the time and the browser) to deliver the site, keep it secure and fix faults. We do this because a working, secure site is in our interest and yours.

Your choices on this device. We save two small items in your browser: your cookie choice, and whether you closed the offer banner. They are not used to identify or track you.

Cookies and similar storage

Nothing is stored for analytics until you accept. This is everything the site stores, and why:

_ga and _ga_ followed by an ID
Google Analytics, only after you accept. Tells visits apart so the statistics make sense.
Up to 2 years
s8-consent
Browser storage. Remembers whether you accepted or declined.
1 year
s8-offer-dismissed
Browser storage. Remembers that you closed the offer banner.
Until you clear your browser data

You can change your choice at any time: . A browser that sends the Global Privacy Control signal is treated as having declined.

Who we share it with

We use a few providers to run the site. They act for us and only for these purposes:

Web3Forms delivers what you send through the contact form to our email. If it is unavailable, the page opens a draft email in your own email app instead, and your email provider handles it from there.

Google provides Google Analytics, only if you accept.

Vercel hosts the site and keeps the server records described above.

Bunny.net delivers the videos on the site, so it receives your IP address when a video loads.

We don’t sell your personal information and we don’t share it for advertising. We may disclose it if the law requires. Some of these providers handle data outside your country, including in the United States, and we rely on the safeguards the law provides for that, such as standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep your messages for as long as we need them to reply and to keep a record of our conversation, and delete them when they are no longer needed or when you ask. Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months. Server records are kept by our host for a short period.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, limit or stop how we use it, or send you a copy. You can also withdraw your consent for analytics at any time, and complain to your local data protection authority. We don’t sell or share personal information for cross-context advertising, and we honour the Global Privacy Control signal. To use any of these rights, write to hello@signaleight.co and we will reply within the time the law allows.

Children

This site is for businesses and isn’t aimed at children under 16. We don’t knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has sent us something, tell us and we will delete it.

Changes and contact

If we change this policy, the date at the top changes with it. Questions, requests or concerns: hello@signaleight.co.
